The Global India Collective brings together leaders to strengthen the Indian American diaspora’s role in the U.S.-India relationship and India’s global outreach.

Our Vision

The Indian American diaspora is one of the most accomplished communities in the history of American immigration. Its collective voice is still not heard. Its full civic, economic, and cultural weight remains undervalued.

Global India Collective was formed to change that. We convene influential leaders to champion the diaspora’s contributions, coordinate its leadership, and strengthen American prosperity and the U.S. India alliance.

When the diaspora speaks with one voice, it does not simply reflect the relationship between the two nations. It helps shape it.

An empowered Indian American diaspora is the most credible, capable living bridge between the United States and India. GIC builds the connective infrastructure that makes that bridge structural.

Our Mission

We enable Indian diaspora leaders to act with a unified voice on strategic partnerships, technology, trade, health, civic leadership, philanthropy, wellbeing, and culture.

We do this by convening executives, investors, philanthropists, policymakers, and innovators who believe that diaspora leadership, practiced collectively, can shape outcomes at a global scale.

Global India Collective mobilizes the Indian American diaspora through coordinated action across eight strategic pillars, executed through three institutional platforms: the Global India Conference, the Congressional Study Group on India, and the Roundglass India Center at Seattle University.

Why We Matter

The GIC builds the connective infrastructure needed for coordinated leadership. By connecting diaspora leaders with policymakers, institutions, and global partners, the GIC strengthens India’s role in shaping the future global order.

Our Institutional Platforms

The Congressional Study Group on India (CSGI) strengthens legislative engagement between the United States and India. Through briefings, roundtables, and study delegations, the CSGI enables policymakers to engage with experts, industry leaders, scholars, and the diaspora on issues shaping the U.S.-India partnership.

The Roundglass India Center is the academic and research anchor of the Global India Collective. Through research, fellowships, and academic programs, the center generates policy insight on issues shaping India’s global engagement and informs the work of the Global India Collective and the Congressional Study Group on India.
